Granada Bistro
Rob & I found this romantic little bar in SLO called Granada Bistro. It’s the size of a jewel-box and by that I mean no bigger than a studio apartment, or my inner city living room. The atmosphere is dark, with lush furniture and surroundings lit only by candlelight. I really liked it. They played jazz music and people were mostly there in pairs, and you could actually have an audible conversation there unlike at most bars. We had berry mojitos, and they were presented nicely but tasted the same as any other mojito. The cool part about this place was that they serve drinks on what appear to be end tables, and these tables have little drawers where you can find all sorts of hidden trinkets— like jewelry or a flimsy notebook filled with thoughts from visitors past. I added some profound Lady Gaga lyrics to the last page.
