Darwin Cafe
Darwin Cafe is one of my favorite work-lunch spots in San Francisco. I’ve even been back about three times since I’ve been funemployed because I love it so much. It’s one of the few restaurants that gets me actually excited to eat a salad!

Every Monday for the past month my best friend and I have been going to a pole-dancing class at Crunch. At first I thought it was super intriguing and interesting but very difficult. However, I think as I slowly ramp up on the learning curve it’s actually been a lot more fun. It takes me a little while to figure each move out but once I do it just ‘clicks’. Climbing was the hardest for me, the first class I couldn’t fathom how it was possible but managed to figure it out within three classes. Today’s class was probably the hardest workout yet, I was sweating and sore by the end of it. I keep getting bruises on my feet and knees, mostly from climbing.
I’ve also found that being ambidextrous seems to work to my advantage. Whenever I get exhausted from doing a certain move I can manage to keep going by switching arms and doing the move from the opposite direction. I’m definitely super excited to see where I’ll be within another month’s time!

Pinkberry
So happy they started selling these in a smaller-than-small size! It’s the perfect snack.

Samovar Tea Lounge
Rob & I had a very erudite Sunday. Brunch at Samovar Tea Lounge followed by a visit to SFMOMA and ending with a showing of One Day, which I dragged him to, because he is British.
Lunch was really yummy! I had the egg salad sandwich— never would think to put apples in there too but it makes a world of difference. The wheat bread was so good too! Salad was a little disappointing but I was already filled up from the sandwich, so, whatever. Rob had an ‘egg bowl’ which was also really good, as far as I could tell from the few bites I tried. We finished with cherry oat scones and Rob complained that they were “American” scones, but they were still good!
I’ve been so bad about updating (I blame the new job, it takes up much more of my time, though this is a good thing). However, I’m sure I will have many pictures and hopefully outfits to show after this weekend’s trip to Vancouver!

Greek (Yogurt) Salad
Romaine lettuce with cherries, slices of red plum, a helping of non-fat Greek Yogurt, and some crunchy almonds! Yum! Why am I not laughing with this?
