Rainy Day Brights
Ack, it’s been so long since an outfit post! Thank goodness for my friend Michelle snapping this picture so I have some documentation of an outfit that received quite a few compliments while walking around in the mission. I got the parka for $10 from Uniqlo during Black Friday and had eagerly been anticipating a chance to wear it! Wore it with a cream tank top and these navy blue high-waisted polka dot pants I got for about $6 in Thailand. Also have a little Asian doll umbrella I got in Thailand as well. The only mistake was wearing heels in this rain but I have to say it looks a lot better with those pants than rain boots would have!

Airplane Outfit
I think I’m getting better at this packing light thing. Okay, actually both of these bags were heavy but at least they both fit under my seat without me having to go through the horrors of gate-checking. Outfit features jeggings (super comfortable for a plane ride, ok) and striped t-shirt from Zara, silk scarf by Bill Blass, navy cotton blazer from Loft, and red TOMS (not pictured).

Peach Paradise
My last picture from SLO! Taken on the balcony of our room at the Sanitarium. I got this top at Sway for $24, saw almost an exact replica at Anthropologie last weekend for around $50… Go me! I thought the ensemble needed a bit more texture so tied my bow-pattern silk scarf around the belt loop of my shorts (from J.Crew).

Fresh Florals
Key trick to mixing prints— make sure they differ drastically in scale! This is probably one of my favorite outfits of late. The top is from Nordstrom Rack, and the skirt I got from the Gap last year with a graduation gift card. Flats are from H&M, on sale for $3!

Perfect for a day with weather that felt oh so east coast. Navy striped top from Zara, sweater from Urban Outfitters, vintage shorts (they belonged to my mom!), tights by HUE, and shoes by TOMS.

Ivory & Evergreen
This was my outfit to dinner at Alex’s Gold Rush Steakhouse (pictured below). I already knew the decor was going to be cray-cray so I opted for something more simple. I got this Michael by Michael Kors top for only $10 at Macy’s because it was the last one and the sales lady couldn’t find a price tag for it!
